The best beauty products you can get on Amazon that you need right now
Did you know all about the best beauty products you can get on Amazon? Amazon is the place to buy anything and everything and, with my Prime membership, it’s also one of the easier places to buy from. It’s nice to know that whatever I buy, I’ll never have to wait longer than a couple of days for the package to show up on my door — which is great because I never seem to have any patience when it comes to waiting for deliveries to come.
I’ve always purchased the bulk of my books and homeware from Amazon, but beauty products were something that I never thought to buy from Amazon. But after a long deep-dive into Amazon’s beauty section, I realised just how many well-loved brands are available on Amazon. I’ve also discovered some amazing new products that I’m super excited to be sharing with you.
Here are some of the beauty products on Amazon that I think you should know about, ranging from my favourite mascara to a Laura Mercier powder dupe and Hyaluronic Acid toner.
Heritage Store Rose Petals Rosewater
Facial sprays are a great way to soothe and hydrate the skin and to freshen up your makeup throughout the day. All of my favourite facial sprays seem to contain rosewater as the main ingredient, so when I discovered this rosewater spray at half the price of the normal sprays I buy, I was excited.
The Heritage Store Rose Petals Rosewater is under £8 and is super simple but extremely effective. It’s refreshing and hydrating and has the loveliest scent. There’s no reason to spend lots of money on rosewater sprays anymore as this one is perfect.
Hada Labo Tokyo Super Hydrator Lotion
Hada Labo is one of the most popular Japanese brands that has recently started to become more easily available in the UK through Amazon. Their cult-favourite product is their Super Hydrator Lotion which is essentially a Hyaluronic Acid lotion.
Hyaluronic Acid is incredibility light and hydrating — and one of my all-time favourite skincare ingredients. If you suffer from dry or dehydrated skin then you need to get your hands on this product, it feels luxurious and moisturising on the skin but really isn’t that expensive in comparison to a lot of the similar products I have tried.
CeraVe AM Facial Moisturising Lotion SPF 25
CeraVe is one of those brands that is simple but will never do you wrong. Their gentle formulas are perfect for people with sensitive skin, and the Facial Moisturising Lotion is especially perfect.
This light moisturiser applies beautifully and sinks into the skin almost instantly leaving the skin feeling moisturised but not loaded down with product. It also has SPF 25 which is a good amount for daily wear.
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream
When my skin is feeling especially dry, this is always the moisturiser that I will reach for. This nourishing cream gets rid of dry skin instantly and will leave your skin feeling super smooth and hydrated as soon as you put it on.
Although it’s super moisturising, it feels light enough to sink into the skin nicely without feeling greasy. It’s the perfect hydrating product for either day or night.
theBalm Mary Lou-Manizer
This has long been one of my favourite powder highlights as it really doesn’t cling to dry patches or texture on my skin, creating a smooth highlighted look. It’s also an absolutely blinding highlight, it reflects in the light perfectly so that you look seriously glowy. This highlighter is everything that I wanted the Becca highlighters to be but weren’t.
Cosrx Acne Pimple Master
I always thought that these types of pimple patches were unnecessary, I know a lot of people who swear by them but just thought they’d never work for me. Since wearing face masks a lot more frequently I’ve noticed a lot more breakouts around my cheeks and chin, these pimple patches have been an absolute life-saver in getting rid of pimples quickly and minimising the amount of redness.
If you suffer from active breakouts I’d highly recommend these, they draw out all of the impurities to make sure spots disappear almost overnight.
Dove DermaSpa Summer Revived Skin Gradual Fake Tan Body Lotion
I spoke about this product in a recent budget beauty post, but it’s so good that I have to mention it again. If you want a hassle-free, no-streak and bronzed fake glow – this is the product you need. I’ve been relying on the Dove Gradual Tans for years to give me a sunkissed look, it’s a perfect light moisturiser that after a few hours makes you look like you’ve put a layer of fake tan on, without all of the efforts of normal fake tan application. You have to try this product if you’re too lazy to wear fake tan all the time.
COTY Airspun Loose Face Powder
The COTY Face Powder has long been labelled as the ultimate dupe for the much-loved Laura Mercier Setting Powder, along with being one of the most wished-for beauty products on Amazon. And the constant flow of positive reviews aren’t wrong, this light powder will keep your foundation in place all day long, with no need to touch-up or worry about flashbacks if you plan to have photos taken. It is a perfect powder and has stopped me from having to part with the £30+ to get the Laura Mercier powder.
Max Factor Crème Puff Blusher, Lovely Pink
If you have always wanted to try the Hourglass blushes, but don’t want to pay the high price tag – you will love these blushes from Max Factor. They have the same marbled effect and a subtle shimmer to make your cheeks glow, but only cost £8. My favourite shade of the bunch is Lovely Pink, which reminds me of Milani Luminoso with the mixture of pink and peach – it would look beautiful on any skin tone.
Essence Lash Princess Mascara
The Essence Lash Princess Mascara which may just be one of the best drugstore mascaras.
After a couple of coats your lashes will look incredibly long and voluminous, almost as if you’ve put on false lashes.
It keeps my lashes curled and in place all day and doesn’t flake away at all. It also comes off really easily when using a nice balm cleanser in the evening.
