Looking for the best liquid bronzer picks? You’re in the right place!
Summer is approaching, and if there’s one thing I really want, it’s a good tan. Unfortunately, I have extremely pale skin naturally, which I slather in SPF50+ every day, so the chances of me *actually* getting sun-kissed skin are pretty slim (although I am more than happy to avoid all of the sun damage).
Although my dedication to sun protection keeps my bare skin safe from UVA and UVB rays, I would like to add a little bit of color to my face. This is where liquid and cream bronzers come in. These are the best kinds of bronzer for me; they are easy to work with, can be applied with fingers when I’m in a rush, and give the perfect natural glow.
Today, we’re focusing on liquid bronzers. They have been growing in popularity on social media, so you’ll notice a few familiar faces in this post. All of the makeup products have been tried and tested by me, so you can be certain you’ll get the best results. We’ve got a few different finishes, some with a more natural-looking finish, others with light-reflecting particles for an intensely glowy look. In short, there’s something for everyone.

e.l.f. Camo Liquid Bronzer & Contour
If e.l.f. knows one thing, it’s how to create an affordable product that stands up alongside much more expensive alternatives. At under $10, the e.l.f. Camo Liquid Bronzer & Contour is by far the cheapest product on the list, but does it feel like a cheap product? Absolutely not.
I dot this around my cheekbones, forehead and nose before blending out. You only need a small amount of product as it’s packed with pigment, but can be easily built up depending on the look you’re going for. They also have a good range of shades, including warm and cool undertones for bronzer and contour.
Saie Dew Bronze
The Saie Dew Blushes are one of my favorite cheek products, so it was a no-brainer that I’d also enjoy the Dew Bronze Liquid Bronzer. This has a beautiful dewy finish and isn’t nearly as pigmented as some of the other liquid formulas on this list, which makes it much more wearable.
It blends out like a dream and gives a pretty natural glow, making it the go-to product for my daily makeup routine.
Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi™ Bronzing Drops
When it comes to liquid bronzers, you either want something that you can apply precisely to certain areas of your face or a product that warms up your whole complexion. The Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi™ Bronzing Drops fall into the latter category.
You can mix this into your moisturiser or foundation, or keep it super simple by applying it directly to the face before makeup. The result you get is a sun-kissed glow that shines through makeup. If you want to amp up the bronze look, apply a few drops to your cheekbones after foundation and concealer.
Glossier Cloud Paint Gel Cream Bronzer
Cloud Paint was one of the first liquid blushes that I fell in love with, so of course, I was going to love the Cloud Paint Bronzers too. It gives a matte finish which is a nice change to the radiant glow you get from most bronzing products.
Despite leaning on the matte side, it doesn’t cling to dry skin or settle into fine lines like some powder bronzers would. I use the shade Sail, a neutral tan shade that helps give a sun-kissed look to fair skin.
Jones Road Gel Bronzer
If you like the Drunk Elephant Drops but want to get rid of the shimmer and go for something that feels a bit more grown-up, the Jones Road Gel Bronzer is your best bet. It’s sheer and lightweight to give a natural finish and subtle glow. I love this for no-makeup days when I want a glow without a full face of product.
It also has a bunch of skin-loving ingredients like shea butter that make it great for mature skin. But you’d expect a fantastic product from Bobbi Brown, one of the most influential professional makeup artists, wouldn’t you?
Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Contour
Rare Beauty turned their iconic blushes into a bronzer, and the Soft Pinch Liquid Contour is just as good in my opinion. The shade range leans more on the cool side, which you’d expect considering this is marketed as a contour product.
This bronzer has a doe-foot applicator, so you could apply it directly to the face. But, the best way to have more control over the finish is to put some onto the back of your hand and blend with a fluffy brush. Like the blushes, a small amount goes a very long way.
Beauty Pie Quick Colour Contour Supergel
If you liked the Charlotte Tilbury gel bronzers, you’ll love the Beauty Pie Quick Colour Contour Supergel. Aside from the similar packaging, it performs similarly for a fraction of the price.
It’s a shame there are only two shades, Medium and Light, but hopefully they’ll expand this. The sheer product gives a slightly glowy finish that is super easy to blend out, and it also doesn’t dry out as fast as some of the other bronzers, so you have more time to blend in.
caliray Sundrip Luminous Liquid Bronzer with Hyaluronic Acid + Peptides
Last, but by no means least, is the caliray Sundrip Luminous Liquid Bronzer with Hyaluronic Acid + Peptides. This comes in a pump packaging and has a very lightweight consistency, which makes it easy to spread across the whole face.
The hydrating peptide blends enhance your skin’s natural radiance while giving a warm, healthy glow. It’s not the type of product that’s going to give you a deep bronze, but I love the natural look it provides.
