Need to get ready in a rush? Here’s my 5-minute makeup routine using only 4 products.
Whether you’re in a rush on a busy morning, or just want to cut down on the time it takes you to do your makeup, having a minimal routine is always a good thing.
As someone who likes a full-face of makeup, I always struggle to cut down on the amount of products I use.
Now I have found a routine (using only 4 products!) that makes me look put together and fresh-faced in way under 5 minutes.
Here are the products I use in my morning 5-minute makeup routine.
Bourjois City Radiance Foundation
Everyone knows and loves the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation, but I can’t understand why it’s glowier sister isn’t getting as much recognition.
The Bourjois City Radiance Foundation is everything you could want in an everyday foundation—it’s got a medium, buildable coverage that feels light on the skin.
This foundation also gives you the perfect glowy complexion without looking oily.
Blended in with my favourite Real Techniques sponge, this is an absolute dream – I have no other words to say about this foundation other than that if you haven’t tried it yet – you need to.
BareMinerals Invisible Glow Powder
Give me a naturally glowing highlighter any day over something that is overly bright and sparkly. Especially in a quick 5-minute makeup look, I just don’t think a blinding highlight go very well.
This makes room for one of my holy grail highlighters. Similar to the infamous Hourglass powders, the BareMinerals Invisible Glow Powder is finely-milled which gives you the perfect ethereal glow.
I find that this is the perfect cherry-on-top to any makeup look, making me look healthy radiant without being too over-the-top.
Makeup For Ever Pro Bronze Fusion Bronzer
I couldn’t do a makeup look without bronzer, and this bronzer from Makeup For Ever has been my current favourite.
I’ve got super pale skin so I can often find it hard to get a good shade for me. I was so happy when I found this product as it makes me look sun-kissed and tanned—not orange.
The bronzer has the slightest bit of shimmer which just adds to my overall glow, it gives a gorgeous radiant bronze effect to any makeup look.
Glossier Boy Brow
To finish this fresh-faced look, I’m going in with a generous coat of my favourite brow gel—Glossier Boy Brow.
All you need is a quick brush through of your brows with this and you’ll instantly look like you’ve taken the time to properly fill in your brows, it’s like magic.
It adds fullness and pigment to the brows which is great because bushy brows are super trendy at the moment.
