If you’re into your beauty products, the aisles of a Sephora probably feel like heaven to you as it does for me.
I will never get tired of taking my time around Sephora, checking out all the different brands, testing out the new products, and browsing the mini’s section before I get to the cash registers. Over the years, I’ve discovered quite a few favorites from Sephora, but I realize that I’ve never actually done blog posts just dedicated to all of my favorites – so here we go.
I’ve rounded up some of my Sephora must-haves in the makeup and skincare categories that I think everyone needs to try or spend their well-earned Sephora Beauty Insider points on. These may not be best sellers but they are incredible products that I think all beauty lovers would enjoy.
Makeup Sephora Must-Haves
I probably spend much more money on makeup products in Sephora than I do skincare products, which made narrowing this list down to just 5 products a little bit tricky.
I normally do a lot of my shopping during the Sephora sale where you can get some really great bargains. I also like to look at the different sets they come out with throughout the year like the gift of holy-grail discovery must-haves collection where they put together some of their best-selling products in one kit at a fraction of the price that you’d normally pay for all the products.
But here are 5 makeup products that I think you need to add to your Sephora cart right now.
Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Blushes
I feel like I am constantly talking about these blushes on my blog, so I hope that by now a lot of my readers have already picked it up. If you haven’t got around to trying these yet, run!
The Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Blushes from Selena Gomez comes in an amazing shade range, there’s something for everyone. A little bit goes a long way so one small blush will seriously last you forever so it’s definitely worth the price.
Saie Glossybounce High-Shine Hydrating Lip Gloss Oil
This is a newer discovery for me but it’s already made its way onto my must-haves list. The Saie Glossybounce High-Shine Hydrating Lip Gloss Oil has quickly become my all-time favorite lip oil, which is saying something considering I am a huge fan of lip oils.
I’ve also started to see a lot of makeup artists using this, which just further proves how great this product is. The lip oil is super hydrating and nourishing, feeling really comfortable on the lips. It doesn’t feel oily or sticky, it’s the perfect formula.
Tower 28 Beauty SunnyDays SPF30 Tinted Sunscreen Foundation
The Tower 28 Beauty SunnyDays Tinted Sunscreen Foundation was probably my favorite product of 2023. This product has the perfect amount of coverage to cover up any redness and even out my skin tone, without looking like I have a full face of makeup on.
I really like the dewy glow that it gives my skin, but if you have oily skin you’ll probably want to go in with a setting powder or flawless setting spray just to make sure that it stays in place all day long. I just apply it with my fingers, but you can also use a makeup sponge or brush depending on how you would normally apply foundation.
Kosas Revealer Concealer
Then we have the Kosas Revealer Concealer, a super popular product that probably isn’t anything new for most readers. I love this concealer because it has a good amount of coverage, doesn’t look too thick and dry under the eyes, has a lot of shades for different skin tones, and lasts for a long time without creasing – what more could you want from a concealer?
It’s also worth noting that I really love the Kosas brow products like the brow gel and the pencil, it’s a bit of an upgrade from my usual e.l.f brow products, but so worth the investment.
Tower 28 MakeWaves Lengthening + Volumizing Mascara
The final product to make the cut is another one from Tower 28 (can you tell they’re my new favorite brand?). Their MakeWaves Lengthening + Volumizing Mascara is one of those products that I’ve been encouraging all of my friends and family to buy because it’s that good.
There’s no other way to describe this than by saying it’s the perfect mascara. It goes on super smooth without making any clumps, it makes my eyelashes super long and voluminous and doesn’t flake off throughout the day. It’s much better than any other mascara I’ve ever used, so if you haven’t tried it out yet, let this be your sign.
Skincare Sephora Must-Haves
As I said, I don’t do a lot of my skincare shopping in Sephora as I typically use a lot of French and Korean skincare products, but there are definitely plenty of products that I love and constantly repurchase from Sephora – here they are!
Dr Jart Tiger Grass Color Correcting Cream
The Dr Jart Tiger Grass Color Corrector has been a holy grail product of mine for a long time and, if you also suffer from redness and acne, you are going to fall in love with this product.
This is a tinted green cream that, when applied to your face, turns into a beige shade that almost completely covers all of my redness. This is the kind of product that works great as a base underneath makeup if I need a bit more color correction but also evens my skin tone out to give me the confidence to go out without any makeup on.
Youth to The People Green Tea Spinach Vitamins Superfood Cleanser
One time, I was in Sephora looking for the best cleanser and a beauty adviser told me that this is one of the best cleansers they sell, and she was not wrong.
The YTTP Green Tea Superfood Cleanser is a no-frills cleanser that just does the job. I use it as my second cleanse after I’ve used a cleansing balm and it leaves my skin feeling super soft and refreshed. It doesn’t take much time to rinse off, it lathers up nicely and doesn’t feel dry at all on my sensitive skin. Don’t bother trying a different product for your cleanser, this is the one you need.
Summer Fridays Lip Balm
The Summer Fridays Lip Balm is probably one of those products that you’re sick of hearing about as it receives constant rave reviews, but I’m going to add to the echo chamber and also say that you need this product.
It’s the perfect lip balm that feels so nourishing on the lips and helps a lot with dryness, I also love the tinted options for when I want something with a bit of color.
While I’m talking about Summer Fridays, their vitamin C serum is also fantastic!
Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Dark Spot Serum
Sephora doesn’t sell many of my favorite French pharmacy brands, but they do sell Caudalie which I love. Their Vinoperfect Radiance Dark Spot Serum is one of the products I use religiously when my skin is going through a rough patch.
A lot of my skin concerns revolve around the fact that I have quite a lot of acne scarring, and using a serum like this really helps to fade those dark spots and even out my skin tone. I like to use this in the evening and after a few weeks of consistent use, I always notice a big difference.
Supergoop Glowscreen Sunscreen
The final product I want to mention is the Supergoop Glow Sunscreen. I love using glowy products and this is a great sunscreen to help give you maximum glow – whether you put makeup on top of it or not.
I love all of the Supergoop products and feel like they really changed the SPF game, but it’s always the Glowscreen that I keep coming back to as I love the way it makes my skin look. You can buy both mini and full-size versions of this product so you can have it with you whether you’re traveling or at home.
More Sephora recommendations?
This list of Sephora must-haves is definitely not the most exhaustive, so let me know if you want me to talk about any other beauty categories. Sephora stocks some of the best hair care brands, including my favorite shampoo, and plenty of new brands for curly hair. I also haven’t even mentioned some of my favorites from the Sephora collection which I’d also love to share!
