I don’t know about you guys, but I’m so ready for the sun to come out, to spend more time outside and hopefully get down to the beach this Summer.

Now that Summer is fast-approaching, I’ve started to purchase some of my favourite summer beauty essentials that I’ve loved over the past few years.

Most of these things are super affordable and can be bought on Amazon!

Amazon may not be your first thought when it comes to places to buy beauty products, but you’d be wrong!

I buy quite a lot of my summer beauty essentials from Amazon because it’s all in one place (and gets delivered super quickly – thankyou Prime!)

For this post, I’ve rounded up the best of the best summer beauty essentials from Amazon that you seriously need in your life.

Garnier Hair Mask

Being outside in the sun and in the sea isn’t the best for your hair. I always notice my hair gets so much dryer in the Summer, especially at the ends.

Because of this, I love doing a weekly hair mask to hydrate and nourish my hair.

My favourite hair mask at the moment is from Garnier, they have a whole range of different masks that target different hair types – so there’s one for everyone.

My favourite for Summer is the aloe vera mask. I find it so hydrating and really helps to get rid of any damage and make my hair feel amazing.

Dots for Spots Pimple Patches

When it’s hot and sunny I like to keep my makeup down to the very minimum which means either skipping foundation completely, or just using a really lightweight skin tint.

Because my summer makeup routine means that my skin is more on show, I like to make sure my skin is looking as good as possible.

I really focus on getting rid of any spots or having the right products on hand so that if a spot does come up, I can get rid of it quickly.

My favourite spot treatment is pimple patches, like these from Dots for Spots. They are small circular patches that you put on a pimple, either overnight or for as long as you can.

It creates a seal over your spot to protect it from bacteria and also helps to draw out all of the impurities from your pimple to make it heal faster.

Maybelline Under Eye Brightener

Whether you’re seeing friends, going to festivals or going out for drinks – you’re probably staying up a bit later than you would in the Fall or Winter so the next morning you may notice your dark circles being worse than usual.

One of my favourite products to cover up dark circles is an under-eye brightener – one of my affordable favourites is the Brightener shade of the Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer.

This is a pink-toned shade that you can use by itself, or under concealer, which will instantly brighten up your eyes and make you look SO much more awake.

It’s not full of coverage so won’t completely get rid of your dark circles, which is why I tend to use a concealer over it too – but it does make such a difference.

On mornings when my dark circles are particularly bad, I’ll put a layer of the brightener under my eye, then use some concealer and then dot a little bit more brightener just at the very darkest points of my dark circles.

Maybelline Mascara

Even when I’m going for a more minimal makeup look, I always want to have one focus of attention – something that still makes me look like I’m wearing makeup. For me, I like this to be either brows or lashes.

The Maybelline Sensational Volumising and Lengthening Mascara is my absolute fave for giving a false-lash effect that looks like you just have naturally long lashes.

It’s not too clumpy or thick that your lashes look fake, instead it coats each individual lash perfectly.

Wilkinson Sword Razor

I saw this razor on Tik Tok and was so intrigued because everyone said that it was the best razor ever and was impossible to cut yourself with.

Especially during the Summer when I’m shaving my legs more than normal, I want something that is quick and easy.

These Wilkinson Sword Intuition Razors are seriously good, the blades are surrounded by a moisturising soap layer which makes it super hard to cut yourself whilst shaving.

It also means that you don’t need to use your own shaving gel – all you need is water and the soap will lather up as you shave.

This razor really is good as everyone says it is, plus it’s only the blades that you need to replace every now and then, not the entire razor so it’s great for reducing waste!

Dove Gradual Tanner

I have spoken about my full tanning routine here, but an absolute summer essential for me is a gradual tanner that keeps my tan topped up in between sessions. The Dove Gradual Tanner is seriously the best that I’ve tried and also one of the more affordable.

It’s super easy to apply, just put some in your hand and apply like you would a regular body moisturiser – but after a few hours you’ll notice a beautiful summer glow.

You don’t need to wash it off or anything (just remember to give your hands a good wash after applying)

It’s easy, foolproof and looks great every single time.

Garnier SPF Mist

I recently spoke about my favourite facial SPFs, where I shared the best products to protect your skin in the sun. Another SPF that I found since that post is the Ambre Solaire Hydrating SPF Mist.

The finish is not too oily or greasy, there’s no white cast and it’s also super hydrating on the skin so it’s perfect if you have dry skin. I really love this and it’s the perfect size to throw into your bag and will encourage you to keep your SPF topped up throughout the day.

You also don’t have to worry about your makeup, this sits on top and you don’t have to rub it in – so it won’t ruin your makeup at all. I spray and even layer and then lightly pat in to my skin!

Cerave Moisturising Cream

CeraVe is one of my favourite drugstore skincare brands so of course they’re going to make an appearance in my Summer beauty essentials, this time in the form of the Moisturising Cream.

This is a super hydrating cream that keeps your skin looking plump and glowy. It’s also fragrance free and contains a simple enough ingredients list that you shouldn’t find it irritating in the slightest – even if you have sensitive skin.

I use this all the time as it’s such an easy product that fits into any routine, it’s simple but super effective – like all of the other products in CeraVe’s product lineup.

Burts Bees Tinted Lip Balms

Tinted lip balms are a product that I use all year round, but become even more of a staple in my summer makeup routine.

I’m not a big lipstick wearer at the best of times, but especially in the summer I don’t want to worry about a proper lipstick, I’d rather use a tinted balm that hydrates my lips, gives a subtle flush of colour and wears away nicely throughout the day.

The Burts Bees tinted lip balms are such an affordable classic product that I always keep my bag and on my desk, they’re the perfect on-the-go product as you don’t even really need a mirror to apply.

Revlon One-Step Volumiser

You’ve probably seen everyone and their mother talking about this hair tool but it is so worth the hype.

This is a 2 in 1 heated hair tool from Revlon that dries and styles your hair and gives you the perfect volumised blowout.

I like to use this when my hair is semi-dry and you just brush it through using the barrel and kind of roll as you go – it’s super easy and much easier than using a seperate brush and hairdryer like I used to when giving myself a blowout.

It’s really cut down the time it takes to style my hair, which is why it’s perfect for summer. It’s one of the only low-maintenance hair tools that I’ve used that really makes you look like you’ve spent a bunch of time on your hair.
