The best drugstore dupes for Kosas products

This post may contain affiliate links, which means I receive a small commission if you make a purchase (at no cost to you!)

Guys, I’ve found some of the best drugstore dupes for Kosas products!

Kosas is one of the most popular beauty brands at the moment, but their products can be slightly expensive. Here are the drugstore alternatives to their makeup products.

Kosas is such a popular brand at the moment, I’m constantly hearing people talk about their products – the only issue is, they’re pretty pricey!

Most of their products fall around the £20-£30 range, which is money that I’m sure most people don’t really want to spend on makeup.

So, like I always do, I wanted to see if I could find any drugstore dupes for some of their most popular products.

And luckily, I was able to find dupes for everything!

I was actually surprised that I was able to find dupes as I had this idea in my head that their products seemed quite unique (unlike Glossier, but you can read that in my other post!).

Most of the products that I’ve found perform and look exactly the same as the Kosas equivalents so I’m super excited to share them with you!

Here are my top drugstore dupes for Kosas products.

Kosas Tinted Face Oil Dupe

kosas tinted face oil review

I’m all about the super light foundations all year round, so I already knew that the Kosas Tinted Face Oil was going to be right up my street, but the £40 price tag always killed me.

I’m a fan of lightweight and powder foundations that offer just the right amount of coverage and a healthy glow.

Luckily, because lightweight foundations are super popular at the moment, the drugstore has loads of brilliant options to choose from.

VOLUMES OF BEAUTY TIP: Read all about my favourite skin tints in this post

I’ve got 3 dupes for this product. The first 2 are super affordable, but you may lean towards one over the other depending on your skin type.

If you have dry skin, I’d go with the L’Oréal True Match Nude Hyaluronic Tinted Serum, this is packed full of hydrating hyaluronic acid that glides onto the skin so effortlessly and gives the perfect amount of coverage that evens out the complexion without being heavy.

Another very similar option is the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Serum Foundation. It has the same lightweight but hydrating consistency that gives your skin a healthy glow without emphasizing any texture.

My final dupe is the Fenty Eaze Drop Skin Tint, although this is still slightly pricey at £25 it’s still a lot cheaper than the Kosas Tint and performs just as well. It really blurs out the skin and makes you look flawless – it’s also basically undetectable on the skin.

Kosas 10-Second Liquid Eyeshadow Dupe

The 10 Second Liquid Eyeshadows are probably my favorite Kosas product, they come in a beautiful collection of shades, apply super easily, and are very long-lasting.

My only issue is that they can be so messy, the consistency is like water so 1 wrong move and you spill product everywhere.

So these dupes are all products that perform and look the same but also are slightly thicker so you don’t have to worry about any unwanted spillages.

I love the ELF Liquid Glitter Eyeshadows as a Kosas 10-Second Liquid Eyeshadow dupe, they have a similar shimmery shade range and look pretty identical once they’re on the eye.

You can find a dupe for pretty much any shade that you like from the Kosas range – in particular the shade Copper Pop from ELF is a dupe for Copper Halo from Kosas and Flirty Birdy from ELF looks like the shade Element from Kosas.

Kosas Lipfuel Dupe

Kosas LipFuel dupe

Finding a Kosas LipFuel dupe was pretty easy as it’s basically just your standard tinted lip balm – the only slightly unique thing about it was the cooling, tingly sensation that it gives the lips (which really isn’t enough to justify the £18 price tag).

buy from sephora

I noticed that the Florence by Mills brand recently came out with the Oh Whale! Lip Balm. I think it was inspired by the Kosas LipFuels as the packaging is super similar, but luckily for us, it’s slightly cheaper at only £12.

It’s still packed with lots of nourishing ingredients, like argan and avocado oils, so it will make your lips feel super hydrating and non-sticky.

If you want an even more affordable option, you can’t go wrong with the Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balms. They come in more shades and work just as well, but they cost under £6.

My 2 other favorite tinted lip balms that are total dupes for the Kosas LipFuel are the Dr. PAWPAW Tinted Multipurpose balms, and also the Honest Beauty Tinted Lip Balm.

Kosas Color and Light Palette Dupe

The Kosas Color and Light products come in 2 formulas, cream, and powder, and are a blush and highlight duo.

Although many customers loved this product, it’s sadly been discontinued — even more reason to find the perfect dupe for both the powder and cream versions of this product.

Color and Light powder dupes

For the powder formula, the ELF Bitesize Face Duos are practically the exact same thing – even down to the shades (which ELF actually has more of).

The highlighters can be slightly heavy on the glitter, but if you just tap the excess off of your brush after loading it up with product, you won’t have any issues.

The Bitesize duos are the perfect size to fit in your makeup bag, and at £3 you really can’t go wrong – you could even buy all 7 of the shades and it would still cost less than 1 of the Kosas duos!

Some other dupes for this powder duo are the Revolution Colour Play Blushed Duo and the Wet n Wild MegaGlo Blushlighter Highlight Bling.

Color and Light Creme dupes

The cream formula was slightly harder to find an exact dupe for, there’s not really any cream blush duos at the drugstore at all.

Texture-wise, the ELF Putty Blushes are the most similar to Kosas formulas. They have that slightly satin matte finish that are super creamy and blendable, the shades are also really similar. We also love the Pixi On-the-Glow Blushes for the glowy texture and easy application.

For highlighter, we’d recommend the Wet n Wild MegaGlo Makeup Stick Highlight for an easy-to-apply, creamy highlighter that will give you the perfect glow.

Kosas Wet Lip Oil Gloss Dupe

Kosas Wet Oil Gloss dupe

The Kosas Wet Lip Oil Gloss is the perfect product for people who want glossy lips, but without the thick sticky feeling – with some added hydration in there too.

Although these Lip Oil Glosses feel so lovely and thin on the lips, they’re very overpriced. Who would want to spend £25 on lip gloss?

If you want a similar gloss that costs much less, these are some of the best ones.

buy from sephora

Starting with the most affordable is the Collection youdoyou Lip Oil. This comes in 2 shades, a pretty pink and a bright red and only cost £3.99. These feel so hydrating and smooth on the lips while giving a gorgeous subtle tint of colour. They’re comfortable and shiny, everything that you would want it to be.

Our favorite lip oil dupe for this product is the iNNBEAUTY Project Glaze Lip Oil, it comes in a beautiful selection of colors and feels amazing on the lips.

We have also been loving the NYX Fat Oil Lip Oil and the Naturium Lip balms, each of which provides a subtle flush of color to the lips with a serious hit of hydration.

Kosas Moisturising Baked Bronzer Dupe

Kosas baked bronzer dupe

Finishing up this drugstore dupes for Kosas products is the Sun Show Moisturising Baked Bronzer, this is a really finely-milled powder bronzer that gives an airbrushed warm glow without looking super powdery and matte.

buy from sephora

It’s a really beautiful bronzer that applies flawlessly and makes my skin look great, but my first thought when using it was that it was just a more expensive version of my favourite Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer.

The texture of both is very similar, both have that silky smooth feel that blends out like a dream and never looks too heavy. The only difference is that the Physicians Formula Blush is almost £20 cheaper, and trust me if you were to compare them side-to-side you would barely notice a difference.

Next is the Ulta Baked Bronzer. It’s insanely cheap at just under £4 and has that same buttery baked formula that looks so good on the skin.

Those were all of my dupes, I hope that this helped save your bank balance if you were thinking on splurging on some Kosas makeup products!

Let me know if there are any Kosas products that I missed out that you’d like some dupes for, also let me know your favourite drugstore makeup dupes of the moment!

I’m not familiar with the Kosas brand, but it’s great to know there are substitutes on the market. 🙂
