When it comes to neutral eyeshadow palettes, we’re spoiled for choice—there are so many to choose from! A lot of the palettes you’ll see in stores also look pretty similar, so it can be hard to work out which is the best quality and worth your money.

We almost exclusively wear neutral eyeshadows on a day-to-day basis, with the occasional red or orange hue added on some days rather than cool-toned eyeshadow palettes, so we think we have a pretty good idea of what makes the perfect neutral eyeshadow palette.

And we think the Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette might be the one.

In this post, I’ll be sharing everything you need to know about the too faced natural eye shadow color palette to help you decide whether you need it in your life, including swatches of all 9 of the matte shades and shimmer shades.

Layout & Packaging

This compact palette houses 9 shadows that range from a light cream to a dark shimmery brown shade.

The shadows are a mixture of shimmers and mattes, which we like in a palette as it gives you far more options with your looks.

If you prefer matte eyeshadows, you can also look into Too Faced matte eye collection palettes that contain pretty much the exact same colors but without the shimmer.

The Too Faced natural eyes palette is laid out in a way so that there are 3 pre-planned looks that you can create — day, fashion, and evening.

The layout is a cool idea as it gives you 3 fool-proof eyeshadow looks for any occasion.

But the great thing with this palette is that no matter the combination of shades you use, they’ll always look great together as they all follow the same color scheme.

Price & Availability

The palette costs $44 which is a fairly average price for an eyeshadow palette of this size, also considering that Too Faced falls more into the luxury price range.

Swatches

First row

The first shade in this row is Heaven, a matte cream shade. I normally use this shade to set any foundation/concealer in place, it can also be used as a highlight in the inner corner or browbone.

To the right is Cashmere Bunny, a matte mid-tone brown. This is an absolute staple shade that helps to add some shadow and depth to your crease.

The last shade in this row is Sexpresso which is a rich matte brown. It’s nice and creamy so use it to either deepen up the crease and outer corner or as an eyeliner smudged across the upper lash line.

Second row

On this row you start with Silk Teddy; a shimmery light pink which you can use all over the lid, or mixed with Heaven as a highlight.

Next to this is our favorite shade of the whole palette, Push Up. This is a warm taupe shade that has a hint of pink to it. It’s insanely pretty and is the color you’ll find us wearing most often.

Then you have Erotica, a neutral brown with gold shimmer. Like Sexpresso, this can be used to deepen the crease but it’s also a great shade to use as the base of a smokey eye.

Third row

Then at the bottom, you have Nudie which is your standard crease/transition shade — we use this color every single day, no matter the look as it blends so well with the other, darker shades of brown.

Then is Honey Pot, a beautiful gold shade that adds a bit of warmth to any neutral brown eyeshadow look.

The final shade in the palette is Chocolate Martini, a warm shimmery brown.

Final thoughts

We think this is a great neutral eyeshadow palette, especially great for makeup beginners as it has all of the shades you could need when you’re first starting out.

You can easily create a super simple and natural everyday look, but you also have those dark colors that enable you to create some intense and dark smokey eyeshadow looks.

The too faced natural eyes shadow color palette is completely fool-proof, there’s such a great selection of colors that will allow you to experiment but you can also be confident that no matter what it will always look good.

The shadows are good quality and last all day without fading or going patchy, even without using an eyeshadow primer.

It’s slightly on the pricey side, but it would make the perfect gift to give someone who loves makeup or just as a treat to yourself!
